How to contribute to logback?

I've cloned logback on github and implemented an RFE that I filed. I went ahead and submitted a pull request, https://github.com/qos-ch/logback/pull/63, though I noticed that there are a lot of outstanding pull requests that don't seem to be getting addressed. Is there something that developers looking to contribute back need to do, or is it the dev's intention not to accept contributions from the community? With regard to this change specifically, we could obviously just use my forked copy, but we would prefer to utilize an official released version, and I do feel that other people could benefit from the changes. These files are typically only written to a few times in pretty quick succession and then they're done. While the appender works well, we have found that we are creating jobs at a faster rate than it closes the sub-appenders, causing us to eventually run out of file descriptors. I know about AppenderTracker and will implement a solution using this, but this feels like this timeout value is something that should be configurable on the SiftingAppender. Hi, i've got some jboss classloading problem and want to analyze this. Logback does output exception traces with the source of the loaded class and the version - e.g. hibernate-core.jar; 3.6.6. Can you tell me where in the logback source code (e.g. File, line number, code sample) this is done, so i can have a look at it? thx Torsten
