Would it make sense to backport this fix to logback 1.2.x using Joda-Time (to maintain JDK 1.6 compatibility)?

I would upgrade to 1.3.0, but currently have a hard dependency on logback 1.2.x and Slf4j 1.x.x through other libraries/frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot).
