Matthew Edge To my knowledge, there is no in the mean time solution to this issue. The parsing of configuration will be largely overhauled in the 1st half of 2015. I expect the planned changes to help reintroducing GSiftingAppender which was removed due technical difficulties in maintaining GSiftingAppender.
