Hi!

We are using ch.qos.logback.classic.net.SyslogAppender and are missing support for suppressed exceptions. I have developed a proof of concept fix for SyslogAppender and want to contribute by sending a PR if there is interest. Should I take that discussion in this jira-ticket or create a new ticket for this specific thing? Or should I create a PR and take the discussion there?

I have not contributed to logback before and want to help in the best way possible.
