Bertrand Delacretaz correctly pointed out that by signing the logback CLA [1], contributors *grant* copyright to QOS.ch, they do not *assign* it. The difference is subtle but important. The contributor continues to hold his or her previous copyrights to the contributed work. I am sorry for the incorrect wording in my previous message (quoted above).
