As far as I see, suddenly removing Groovy configuration was an act of anti-social bastardry. If you wanted to move it to a different module because it doesn't fit some users' risk scenarios, fine whatever. But just fucking over the entire community was never ok. And by the way, the documentation now talks about using janino to configure xml. janino purports to be some kind of Java interpreter. How is it a win to replace a groovy interpreter with a java interpreter? |
