@Ceki Gulcu Could  you please throw some light on rationale behind removal of DB appender?

Is there some known vulnerability or we are just taking step back and removing everything which is area of concern and will be put back once we harden it?

So  if we take latest logback and rebuild db appender from 1.2.8,is there anything that we need to worry about ?
