FYI I'm using servlets - thats why I haven't tried the servlet thing (not working on a webserver).
So, this is still an issue IMO. The command params don't appear to do anything. I don't understand why you think a simple logback.debug that /always/ prints simply to std out isn't a good idea. ATM I have no idea what is going on with my logback configuration with a certain app :/.
