Ceki: I've created both JMS and DB appender scenarios here, the latter running in DB2 on an IBM iSeries. The DB appender will go into use first for convenience, but long term, the JMS solution may be preferable. As long as the JMS code is not going to disappear unannounced, I can work with the documentation from the earlier version. If that assumption is wrong, for example if other users also complain about the same missing documentation, then I'll go and add the section on JMS-based appenders. I just tooked at the user manual for version 0.9.27 to refresh myself on a couple of details related to the JMSQueueAppender and find that it is missing from the manual for this version of logback.
Is this intentional or an oversight. This information was in the 0.9.26 manual.
