Instead of using ex.printStackTrace(), use the SLF4j Logger method that takes a Throwable.  i.e. change:<div><br></div><div>ex.printStackTrace();</div><div><br></div><div>to:</div><div><br></div><div>log.warn(&quot;Bad things afoot&quot;,ex);</div>
