
As far as I know, there is no way to prevent this using SocketAppender... <shamelessPlug> But my multiplex appender, which is part of Lilith, available at http://lilith.huxhorn.de , handles this and a lot more... If you download Lilith, you'll find setup instructions in the help. if you are using Maven, the setup will actually be quite easy </shamelessPlug> ;) Regards, Joern.
