Using the Onyx Log wrapper, you can log binary data as a hex dump, is that what you're looking for. Or are you expecting a blob of unreadable binary data in the middle of a text log file? Being a first time user, can logback be used to log binary data? This was not possible in log4j without writing custom appenders but still the message was always a string.
