It is barely mentioned in the document below, but DynamicThresholdFilter (http://logback.qos.ch/apidocs/ch/qos/logback/classic/turbo/DynamicThresholdFilter.html) might also be what you are looking for. It is a little more complicated than MDCFilter but provides more control.
