I currently don't use them either.  As long as I could build them if I do need them (it is likely there will be a day when I do need it).

Hello all,

Logback includes retro-weaver generated jars for JDK 1.4. However,
there seems to be little interest in these JDK 1.4 jars. Calling
retro-weaver increases logback's build time by a few seconds --
seconds in which we can do more productive things.

So, is there any interest in the JDK 1.4 build of logback? If not, I
intend to remove JDK 1.4 support in logback for the next release.

Speaking only for me, you can remove the JDK 1.4 support. But if it's only a matter of seconds when cutting a release, I think you should better keep it...
