Any update on when we can expect logback 0.9.29? There seem to be a number of fixes available but in particular http://jira.qos.ch/browse/LBCLASSIC-246 is really causing us a lot of grief... -Tommy

Tommy, Ceki has been quite on the mailing lists for a while now. His last checkin to github was on 29th March. Perhaps he's on holiday or something? Anyone know anything? If I do a snapshot build of master branch, then some unit tests fail. If I skip the tests and use 0.9.29-SNAPSHOT in my app then it works fine, and you issue below is fixed. If you can spare the time you could try fixing the tests, and do a release from your own branch. David On 20 May 2011, at 19:08, Becker, Thomas wrote:

Hi David, I am still around and will take some time off to work on logback. There should be a new logback release next week. Cheers, On 21/05/2011 4:05 PM, David Roussel wrote:

Hello, great news, I hope You'll manage to get the IO buffering stuff for file appender (earlier discussed ImmadiateFlush and BufferedIO options) in there as well as now we have to stay at rather old 0.9.18 for performance reasons. Peter
