Hi all, sorry for this newbie question that might have been asked (and answered) a million times :-( I installed the Logback plugin in my Eclipse installation (Ganymede) following the instructions given at http://logback.qos.ch/consolePlugin.html . No matter what I do, after re-launching Ganymede there is no Logback view available in my workspace. Should I configure something else or, are there any known issues with regard to Ganymede? Hi, this is exactly what I did but the problem is that there is not even a Logback category in Other ... views! That looks weird ! Ettore

I am afraid you have to use an older version of logback to use the eclipse plug-in, namely version 0.9.9. Ettore Paolillo wrote:

Thank you. But from your answer I am starting to realize that perhaps I completely misunderstood the installation procedure. Do you mean that I have to install BOTH Logback AND the plugin? What I did is that I ONLY installed the plugin ! Starting to feel stupid ! Ettore

It's alright. You have to install the plug-in in Eclipse and add logback as dependency for each of your projects. HTH,
