http://bugzilla.slf4j.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303 Priority: P5 Bug ID: 303 Assignee: slf4j-dev@qos.ch Summary: If fqcn is wrong in LocationAwareLogger.log(), "?" is logged as class Severity: enhancement Classification: Unclassified OS: All Reporter: digulla@hepe.com Hardware: All Status: NEW Version: 1.7.x Component: Core API Product: SLF4J When the value of fqcn (fully qualified class name) for LocationAwareLogger.log() is wrong, logging frameworks like logback log "?" as location. Change the documentation of the method to say "the implementation should print 'fqcn not found:' plus the wrong value of fqcn when the value can't be found in the stack trace". This will make the error more obvious and easier to fix. Can you make this change in logback or should I file another issue? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
